café com leite is a video installation that maps and follows the life cycles of all 13 storms born in the North Atlantic during that turbulent year. Driven by the so-called “trade winds”, these atmospheric disturbances materialize on the West African coast, gather strength as they cross the ocean toward the Americas, and finally blow back toward the European continent.
